Volunteering with BIEE

Would you like to get involved with Bee Inspired Eco Education? We are a community interest company, a not-for-profit organisation, aiming to reach as many children and young adults in our community as possible. Are you passionate about inspiring a love of pollinators and a respect for the environment? We rely on dedicated individuals to help to support our work in the community. So, without people like you, we would not be able to reach out to all sections of the community.

How can I get involved with BIEE?

There are many ways that you can help and get involved at Bee Inspired Eco Education. For example, you can assist us in delivering workshops to children and young adults. Help behind the scenes, organising and developing craft activities. Come and help on the stall when we go to events and fairs in the Leeds area. Perhaps you can spread the word and help with marketing and social media, so we can reach as many people as possible. We also need help gathering seeds for seedballs and seed packets. If you have surplus seeds from any flowers in your garden, can you donate them?

If you are a beekeeper, do you have surplus wax (in whatever state) or even surplus honey (is there such a thing?!) that you can donate to BIEE? We can process them into saleable products to aid our cause. If you are upgrading your equipment and have any reusable items we would also love to hear from you.

Donations

Bee Inspired Eco Education is passionate about making our activities accessible to as many children and schools as possible. This is why grants and donations are so valuable. Supporting us will allow us to provide subsidised or fully-funded workshop activities to those who need it the most. So if you don’t have time to do any volunteering, please consider helping financially!
