Inspiring eco awareness in leeds Local communities

As a Community Interest Company, we are passionate about inspiring a love of bees and pollinators in Leeds communities and beyond. Our outreach work aims to engage and inspire communities and individuals, especially those that have less opportunities and resources.

We provide positive activities and support to show how even those with little or no outdoor space or resources can take steps to look after the environment.

Collaboration with CATCH, Leeds

Bee Inspired Eco Education has a dedicated space at CATCH, Leeds, in the heart of Harehills, where we run activities and events for the local community.

CATCH is an amazing community hub, focused on addressing local issues impacting young people, families and individuals. As well as our on-site BIEE Experience Apiary where people can get hands-on, we run lots of activities for young people and the community. We bring communities together over a shared passion for the environment and help them find positive steps that they can take in their lives to make a difference.

We can run small group sessions for up to 6 people, or host larger events to get the community buzzing with creative ideas. Just get in touch to find out more.

Meanwood Valley Urban Farm

Located in Meanwood Valley, this inner city urban farm is a crucial community resource for Leeds. We have helped to look after the MVUF bees for several years, as well as helping on the farm, volunteering and improving the allotments. It is a wonderful outdoor space which is perfect for hosting specialist Bee Inspired Eco Education workshops, which can also be combined with farm tours.
